I came to this show not knowing any of the bands, and I was surprised in quite a few ways. Starting off the show was Senseless. I rarely see such a young band opening.
But I have a soft spot for them since my first few show-going experiences were when I was in middle school and
supported all my town's fledgling bands.
However, these guys were more together and enjoyable that the bands I used to see. Maybe young punk bands aren't dying off after all :)

Please bear with my camera, its a point & shoot, therefore quite blurry.
Here is Westcott:

A little bit more of what I'm used to seeing, but I was impressed with the singer. He was able to put a lot of emotion into his singing
without slowing the songs down at all. While the music wasn't anything new, I liked watching them and was disappointed that more people didn't come to see them.
Something about this band reminded me of seeing Armor for Sleep a long time ago, when they played a real small stage.

Next up was Robots & Racecars. These guys know how to market themselves! One of the guys was handing out free stuff (I got a sticker and a CD)
and they brought plenty of friends too. I love that kind of energy and the way they interact with the crowd,
but to be honest I haven't listened to the free CD. I feel like I've seen them a few times before,
apparently they played a few shows with bands from my area. Tight set but familiar sound.

You can really see how into it he is.

After them came Eclectik Red. They were by far my favorite band of the night. I was surprised, thinking the rest of the night would be
more pop punk/emo/whatever. Eclectik Red is more original than that, with a sound like Murder by Death or the Mars Volta.
And you really dont see lead singer/drummers often enough! Very impressive... and great harmonies too.
I was about to buy their CD but I only saw tshirts for sale (nice ones, made by them).

...Nothing could have prepared me for Howard's Dilemma. I have friends like this, who just make up bands and put on
some really crazy shows and you don't know if they are insane or genius. But either way it takes balls.
Howard's set included synth loops, samples, a fog machine, and a many costume changes! A show in a different sense of the word.

The raincoat guy was there to catch water balloons in a bucket and throw them at the audience??

Hahah that was some weird stuff!
But it was getting late and the crowd was thinning so I left before the last two bands. Sorry guys, maybe next time :/
All in all, that was a fun show and I'm glad I went.
